Cancellation & Returns Policy

At IRICOM Solar Energy and Infrastructure Private Limited (“IRICOM Solar Energy”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), we are committed to customer satisfaction while maintaining transparency and regulatory compliance. This policy outlines the terms governing order cancellation, returns, and refunds.


1. Order Cancellation

A. Product Orders

  • Orders may be cancelled before the product is shipped or dispatched from our warehouse.

  • Once the order has been shipped, dispatched, or handed over to a logistics partner, cancellation will not be permitted.

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing with complete order details.

  • If installation services have been scheduled or commenced, cancellation will not be allowed.


B. Service / EPC Orders (Solar Projects)

  • Cancellation of Solar EPC, installation, or project-based services depends on the stage of execution.

  • If cancellation is requested after site survey, engineering design, procurement, material allocation, logistics booking, or mobilization has commenced, actual costs incurred will be deducted from any refundable amount.

  • Once installation or execution work has started at the site, cancellation will not be permitted.


2. Returns & Exchanges

Due to the technical and customized nature of solar and electrical products, returns are accepted only under limited conditions.

Eligible for Return

Return requests must be made within 7 days of delivery.

Products must be:

  • Unused and uninstalled

  • In original packaging

  • With all accessories, manuals, warranty cards, and documentation

  • In resalable condition


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are strictly non-returnable:

  • Installed or used solar panels, inverters, batteries, or electrical equipment

  • Products where installation has already commenced

  • Customized, engineered, or made-to-order solar systems

  • EPC, installation, consultancy, or service-related work

  • Products marked as “Non-Returnable”

  • Items damaged due to improper handling, incorrect installation, power fluctuations, or external environmental factors


3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

  • Any damaged, defective, or incorrect product must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Customers must provide clear photographs and/or videos for verification.

  • Upon approval after verification, a replacement or refund will be arranged at no additional cost.

Failure to report within 48 hours may result in rejection of the claim.


4. Return Authorization Process

  • Customers must contact our support team to obtain prior written return authorization.

  • Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

  • After approval, products must be shipped to the address provided by our team.

  • Refund or replacement will be processed only after inspection and quality verification.


5. Refund Policy

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 3–5 business days from the date of approval.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only.

  • Shipping, logistics, installation, site visit, and service charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our verified error.

Processing timelines may vary depending on banking channels.


6. Return Shipping

  • Return shipping charges shall be borne by the customer.

  • If the return is due to our verified error (wrong product, damaged product at dispatch, or manufacturing defect), we will bear the return shipping cost.


7. Force Majeure

IRICOM Solar Energy shall not be held liable for any delay or failure in performance of obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, floods, fire, war, government restrictions, transportation disruptions, strikes, supply chain shortages, or other unforeseen circumstances.

In such cases, delivery timelines, installation schedules, or refund timelines may be reasonably extended.
